well the summer is nearly here and the weather is getting warmer

please please think of your pets

keep them in the shade, give them plenty of water and make sure they are all ok and not always in the sun

    R A W - Rabbit Awareness Week
  Did you know that rabbit awareness week is here? its the 4th of may - 12th may - many vets are doing free rabbit health checks Including the pets at home
in-store vets. contact your local vets for details!
  Did you know that 90% of a rabbits daily food should be hay or grass? Rabbits don't actually really need rabbit food they survive in the wild on grass and foraging alone - we all feed our rabbits way too much pellets - and they wont say no! rabbits need plenty of fresh greens fresh water and lots of hay daily - a small bowl of pellets goes down well but is just really a treat! did you also know that carrots are actually full of sugar and that rabbits should only have sometimes?
 
 Rabbits are a big part of our lives and need maybe more care than some might think - celebrate rabbit awareness week and LOVE YOUR RABBITS!

Hello from all at Eltham Hen House!
  We would like to tell you that we now offer a pet collection and drop off service for local people that wish to board their pet but dont have either the time or the transport! - We can arrange to collect your pet for boarding and drop your pet safely back home again after boarding for a small charge - We hope this will make our service a better experience for those of you who have to come by taxi or public transport - or simply just dont have the time!  - Your pet will travel safe and warm, without you having to spend time travelling. This service is available from today -   Please contact us for a price! - We can be flexable with times. 
  And remember we can supply pet bedding: straw - hay - woodchip etc   which can also be delivered locally too!
